I continued this second year with the same machine, an Aprilia
AF1 Replica from the previous year.
The season started good as I finished the races usually around
the 10th position (always remember that these were good years: we
were about 80 to start the season !) until Magny-Cours when I had
the bad idea to pass the third (who finally won the cup) by the
outside, the front tyre slept and I fall at about 140km/h: hand
and foot damaged. It took a lot of time until the pain goes. I
finished the season at a final 17th rank.
